Sunday Stretch & Sing

Start your day with a stretch and a song…

Want to get those endorphins flowing? Well, stretching your body has to be one of the best ways to get them going.  Couple that with some feel good singing and they'll be practically over flowing!

That's why I've decided to put together ‘ Sunday Stretch and Sing' workshop - because I want to give people the feel good factor and I know first hand that singing and movement can give you that feeling almost instantaneously. 

The workshop will begin with stretches designed to release tension in the whole body and face, getting the blood flowing and easing out parts of the body that are holding on to anxiety. This will include some stretches specifically targeting muscles around the shoulders, neck, jaw and mouth that effect healthy, strong singing. We will then move on to developing a breathing technique that will help the whole body feel relaxed and at the same time when used during singing, will create a relaxed, controlled sounding tone. From here we will practice singing exercises that will help strengthen your voice and understanding of how to use the body physically to develop the sound you want. During each session we will also work on two uplifting group songs - which definitely cement that feel good factor inside you and send you humming all the way home. 

STRETCH AND SING WILL RETURN AFTER THE SUMMER HOLIDAYS - BEGINNING SUNDAY 8TH OF SEPTEMBER.
